How we met…

We met in 2019, as students of Western Washington University, inspired by each other’s willingness and commitment to serve our respective communities. We would cross paths in our final year of school which began the start of a beautiful friendship.

We kept in touch with each other after graduating, while motivating one another as new young professionals. At the time Angelica moved and worked in Seattle, while Ikenna worked in Bellingham.

We believe fate brought us even closer, as Ikenna received a promotion that required him to move to Seattle, to a location that happened to be 10 minutes away from Angelica’s apartment. Our friendship and love grew, and we have experienced multiple adventures together and endured some difficult life challenges. Through it all, we have leaned on each other to push us through the hard times and lift each other up when it matters most. Our love for our families, communities and partnership is a priority and is something we admire about one another. While this is the start of a new step in our relationship, we hope to continue being each other’s peace and protect one another’s dreams while bringing out the best in one another.
